About the job Instructional Assistant
U.S. Healthcare Services provides in-home services to students throughout Pennsylvania who attend Cyber Charter School.
Location: In-person at the student's home
We are currently looking for an Instructional Assistant to provide support services to a 4th grader near Pittsburgh, PA, for 8 hours/day This opportunity will be for in-person, one-on-one services during the school day. Opportunities are for per-diem independent contract work that is flexible and convenient.
Pay: $26/hr.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one assistance and encourage participation in live online sessions.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment by providing positive reinforcement, redirection, and strategies for self-regulation
- Adapt instructional materials as directed by the teacher
- Reinforce lessons and concepts introduced by the teacher
- Check class work and assist with homework
- Completion of some college coursework
- Experience working with children preferred
- Able to obtain clearances
- Choose your own hours during the school day
- Monday to Friday
- 1099 Independent Contractor
