Instructional Assistant- In School Suspension (ISS)
Location: New Augusta Public Academy North
Responsibilities
Supervise Guided Learning (In-School-Suspension) Classroom.
Take accurate attendance and communicate attendance to Attendance Secretary. New Augusta Academy
Motivate/encourage students to make healthy choices.
Assists students who need help/clarification on work assigned.
Actively supervise students and monitor behavior during guided Learning Day.
Effectively communicate with classroom teachers to collect and submit student assignments.
Assists Middle School's Secretarial Staff with clerical work and assigned office tasks when the ISS room is empty.
Collaborate with Supervisor Regarding Class-Related needs, concerns, progress
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
