High School diploma or equivalent required. Instructional Assistant applicants must have a passing score of 70% or above for the NCLB test. The test is waived if one of the following is provided: AA/AS degree or higher, transcripts stating 48+ college units.
Westside Union School District is located on the west side of the Antelope Valley, 65 miles northeast of Los Angeles. Our schools serve the communities of Quartz Hill, Lancaster, Palmdale, Leona Valley, and Antelope Acres. Shift times can vary approximately 3.30 hours per day 7:45am-11:15am Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 7:45am-10:15am Wednesday or 11:15am-2:45pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 10:15am-12:45pm Wednesday.
