Key Qualifications:
- Experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting preferred
- Enthusiasm for working with elementary-age students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive problem-solving approach
- Ability to follow teacher and administrative direction
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or paraprofessional certification is a plus
- Provide instructional and behavioral support to students, both individually and in small groups
- Assist teachers in classroom management, preparation of educational materials, and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment
- Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and breaks
- Encourage student engagement, participation, and achievement throughout the school day
- Support students with special needs as directed by specialized staff
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies at all times
Two full-time positions are available, each offering 32.5 hours per week in a welcoming elementary setting. You'll become an essential part of the daily educational experience, forming meaningful connections with both students and staff.
