Responsibilities
• Assist teachers with classroom instruction, student supervision, and preparation of instructional materials.
• Provide individual or small-group support to students in reading, writing, mathematics, and other academic areas as directed by the teacher.
• Reinforce classroom routines, assignments, behavior expectations, and instructional activities.
• Monitor and assist students in classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, lunchrooms, buses, or other assigned areas.
• Support students with diverse learning, behavioral, or physical needs, consistent with training and assignment.
• Assist with student data, records, assignments, communication materials, and other classroom or school documentation as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality of student, family, and staff information.
• Communicate and work cooperatively with students, teachers, administrators, parents/guardians, and other staff members.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, adult high school diploma, or G.E.D.
• Must also meet one of the following:
• Completion of two years of post-secondary study (48+ semester hours)
• Associate's degree or higher
