Essential Function
Provide an optimal learning environment for children ages 15 months through 5 years in a childcare center and assist Child Care Center Associates.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma;
Completion of at least two (2) Early Childhood Education classes preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience in childhood education is preferred; experience working with small children in a childcare setting is desirable. CPR/First Aid and Food Handler certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:

1. Assist in writing and implementing daily lesson plans and resource units.
2. Assist in gathering lesson and resource materials.
3. Arrange the general layout of the classroom and various learning/activity areas.
4. Dispense snacks and meals to children per health and safety guidelines.
5. Coordinate and supervise outdoor activities.
6. Maintain a healthy, safe, and clean environment for all children.
7. Lead daily learning activities, naps, and exercises.
8. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.
9. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
10. Adhere to childcare policies and licensing regulations.
