JOB TITLE : Instructional Aide - Bilingual (Spanish/English)
SITE AND LOCATION OF POSITION : Highland Elementary School
TERM AND HOURS OF POSITION : 5.75 hours per day
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES : With supervision by certificated staff, assist with small groups of Limited English Proficient (LEP) children, giving instructional assistance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
SALARY : Range 6, $16.50 - $20.10 per hour based on 10 steps (additional $0.32 per hour in lieu of benefits).
SCREENING PROCEDURES : Review of applications and personal interviews.
FILING DEADLINE: October 6, 2025 at 4:00 pm, or until filled.
OTHER COMMENTS: Applicant selected will be required to successfully complete a pre-placement medical assessment, TB clearance, and fingerprint clearance.

- Two years of study at an institution of higher education, or an Associate's or higher degree, or pass a formal state or local academic assessment that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics (or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness).
- Fluent speaker/writer of the Spanish and English languages, and ability to pass Spanish/English literacy tests.
