About the Role:
Alford Air Conditioning Inc is looking for a skilled and motivated Installer/Service Tech to join our team in Jupiter, FL. Responsibilities:
Install residential and commercial HVAC systems, including split systems, package units, and ductwork
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment
Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems
Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications
Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and recommendations
Maintain service vehicles, tools, and equipment in proper working order
Complete service reports and job documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in HVAC installation and/or service
EPA 608 Certification required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a variety of HVAC systems and brands
Strong knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical systems
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field
Professional, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills
