Installer Team Lead

Job Summary:

The INSTALLER TEAM LEAD works under the direction of the Senior Project Manager. This position travels to our warehouses across the mid-west, south central, and New England states. The Installer Team lead will lead the team of installers and assist with setting up new warehouses, changing existing racking, moving product, racking installation and teardowns.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the assembly and installation of racking according to warehouse layout.
2. Disassemble old racking; sort, bind and store by dimensions.
3. Move and make changes to existing racking.
4. Measure, outline and paint truck and farm area according to layout.
5. Move product to new racking, according to new layout charting.
6. Install signs and labels to bins, dock doors, etc.
7. Visit and work with locations on special projects.
8. Responsible for working safely at all times and following safety rules.
9. Work with Facilities & Project department when not traveling.
10. Support company goals and uphold K&M Values.
11. Perform other duties as appropriate and assigned.
12. Work with and train team or other employees assisting.
13. Assist Security by running cables, hanging cameras, door contacts, etc
14. Assist in preparing and getting warehouses ready for implementation of new software.
15. Provide leadership and direction to other members of your team.

5. Must pay close attention to details.
6. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. continuously.
7. Must have a valid driver’s license.
8. Must be 21 or older.
9. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
10. Must be willing to travel. May need to travel for several weeks or even several months in a row.
11. Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled.
12. Ability to operate and be certified on pickers and forklifts.
13. Must have the ability to adapt with change.

Installer Team Lead Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of installing experience
• Ability to lead/train incoming team members
• Actively participate in Leadership Development
• or 2 years of supervisor experience

M-F Traveling is required about 75%
