Ready to take the next step in your career? The Installer II position is designed for skilled telecommunications professionals with 3–5 years of experience who are ready to work independently, take ownership of their work, and help develop the next generation of technicians.
At CCCI, Installer II team members are trusted to perform quality installations with minimal supervision while supporting project success through technical knowledge, teamwork, and a commitment to safety. This position offers continued opportunities for advancement into Lead Installer, Foreman, and other leadership roles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities-Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Independently install structured cabling systems, fiber optic cabling, telecommunications infrastructure, and related lowvoltage systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, specifications, and project documentation to complete assigned work accurately.
- Perform cable routing, termination, labeling, testing, and troubleshooting in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Maintain quality workmanship while meeting project schedules and customer expectations.
- Identify installation issues and communicate solutions to project leadership.
- Assist with training and mentoring Installer I team members by demonstrating proper installation techniques and safe work practices.
- Maintain organized work areas and ensure materials, tools, and equipment are properly maintained.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and customer site requirements.
- Professionally represent CCCI while interacting with customers, subcontractors, and fellow employees.
- Accurately document completed work and report project progress.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Foreman, Superintendent, or Management.
Education & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 35 years of telecommunications, structured cabling, lowvoltage, or commercial construction experience.
- Working knowledge of copper and fiber optic installation practices.
- Ability to independently complete assigned installation tasks.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass customerrequired background screenings and drug testing when applicable.
- Authorization to work in the United States.

- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized telecommunications equipment.
- Perform repetitive hand movements requiring manual dexterity.
- Distinguish cable colors, labels, and wiring configurations.
- Travel between customer locations and project sites.

- Office settings
- Commercial Construction sites
- Data centers
- Warehouses
- Customer facilities
- Indoor and outdoor environments
- Exposure to changing weather conditions
- Dust, noise, vibration, and moving equipment
- Travel between job sites
- Overtime, weekends, or overnight travel as business needs require
Employees are expected to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with all company and customer safety requirements.

- FullTime
- Monday through Friday
- Overtime as required
- Occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays based on business needs
