Installation ManagerConvergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Installation Manager to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the electrical installation team and/or installation subcontractors. Supervise the installation process, which includes, but is not limited to, building field panels, installing cable/wire, installing field devices and panels, terminating cables/wire, and assisting the Project Specialist with start-up and commissioning on assigned Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects. Ensures delivery of projects effectively and within budgeted cost and time schedules. Supervisory duties include, but are not limited to: mentoring, coaching and developing colleagues.

Responsible for interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning and directing work, performance management, project budget and quality assurance. May oversee installation subcontractor work.Oversees all aspects of the electrical installation work on assigned projects.Acts as the primary contact with customers and internal colleagues in providing electrical installation support and training. Provides training and development for Electrical Installers. Handles the more complex issues that may have been escalated from less-experienced colleagues.Provides guidance and training for a wide variety of manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing advanced knowledge of low voltage troubleshooting skills and using standard test instruments and hand tools.Responsible for Electrical Installers and subcontractor safety, including but not limited to annual training, job site safety analysis, proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use, tool box talks, etc.Accountable for maximizing customer satisfaction. Acts as "our customer's best service provider" at all times thereby ensuring Convergint is the customer's first choice for service.

Takes ownership of onsite project including safety, quality and performance. Observes and practices Convergint Quality Standards.Identifies opportunities for improvement including installation methods to improve profitability and quality.Works closely with the Project Manager to plan and schedule installations; makes recommendations regarding potential changes in scope, and identifies ways to continuously improve customer satisfaction.Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.Convergint fosters a supportive, accessible, and inclusive environment in which all individuals are able to realize their maximum potential within the company.
