This opportunity is ideal for someone who has experience leading a team in the construction industry and is ready to support as a resource for ensuring accurate engineering and project completion while being part of a vibrant national organization.**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well!)*** Ensure all associates embrace the safety culture and comply with all safety initiatives.* Supervise, train, and develop all technicians or other associates within leadership span of control.* Ensure the scheduling, execution, billing and completion of install, service, warranty, and emergency jobs.* Ensure estimating and engineering standards are utilized and installed accordingly.* Ensure all projects are completed on time and on budget.* Provide technical support related to installation methods for all field employees.* Develop and drive recovery plans for projects with existing or future cost overruns.* Provide input for strategic solutions surrounding obsolete equipment, antiquated systems, and complex system upgrades.* Follow up on customer satisfaction issues and drive resolution.* Assist the Operations Manager in driving utilization and field productivity amongst all field employees* Build a high-performance culture to include engagement reviews, development initiatives, and other performance management.* Support Project Managers related to project risks, conflict resolution and establishment of project recovery plans.* Develop and build contractor, customer, consultant, and subcontractor relationships.* Promote the securing of change orders by ensuring work outside scope is identified and captured.* Ensure compliance with state, local and Federal legal requirements and ensure that installation business is conducted with the highest ethical standards.**WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU*** Minimum two years project or operations leadership experience in the Fire and Life Safety or construction business.* Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of individuals, including company leadership, field techs, customers, and vendors.* Strong, positive team builder with leadership ability.* Ability to work under tight deadlines and with a sense of urgency.* Customer-focused; skilled in project and people management.* Meet guidelines for background check and pre-employment drug screening.* Valid driver's license & reliable transportation.**WHAT WE'RE BRINGING TO THE TABLE*** Competitive salary based on qualifications.* Paid time off plan and holidays.* 401(k) matching.* Short term and long-term disability.* Medical, dental, and vision plans with options.* Life insurance.* Company cell phone, and tablet* Professional career development opportunities.* Tuition reimbursement.$130,000-$140,000 annual DOE\"Sciens\" is Latin for \"knowledgeable and skilled.\" We take that definition to heart by using our collective experience to do meaningful work in the world - protect people and property through sophisticated life safety, security, communication and electrical systems.
