Role Description

The Installation Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Loveland, CO, overseeing commercial and industrial HVAC installation projects from planning through completion. This role coordinates project schedules, allocates labor and materials, and ensures installations meet safety standards, building codes, and company quality expectations. The Installation Manager provides day-to-day leadership for installation technicians, including on-site guidance, troubleshooting, and performance feedback. Responsibilities include collaborating with project managers and contractors, reviewing drawings and specifications, monitoring project costs and timelines, and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams. The role also includes documenting installation progress, enforcing safety protocols, and supporting continuous improvement of installation processes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HVAC installation teams, including project coordination, site supervision, and workflow management.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, installation methods, and applicable building codes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with technicians, contractors, and clients.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety, including enforcing safety standards and promoting a safety-focused culture.
• Basic computer skills for using project management tools, email, and digital documentation.
• Prior experience in commercial HVAC installation management or a related mechanical contracting field strongly preferred.
• Relevant technical training or certification in HVAC or mechanical systems; journeyperson or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site in varying field conditions.
