The Inside Sales Representative Manager is responsible for driving new insurance sales by partnering with our Core independent agents across multiple states. This role focuses on increasing production in Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, and Life Insurance through proactive sales coaching, virtual training, one-on-one consultation, and relationship management. The Inside Sales Representative Manager serves as a trusted sales partner, helping agents identify opportunities, develop sales strategies, and grow their books of business. Success in this position requires strong consultative selling skills, the ability to motivate and influence agents remotely, and a deep understanding of insurance products and sales processes.
Essential Job Functions
- Drives new business growth in Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, and Life Insurance through strategic partnerships with assigned agents
- Builds productive relationships with our Core agents and develop customized action plans to improve sales performance
- Conducts virtual one-on-one coaching sessions to identify sales opportunities, overcome obstacles, and improve closing ratios
- Plans and facilitates engaging virtual group training sessions focused on sales techniques, product knowledge, prospecting, cross-selling, and business development
- Analyzes production reports and sales metrics to identify growth opportunities and prioritize outreach
- Promotes cross-selling strategies that increase client retention and overall policy growth
- Collaborates with underwriting, marketing, and internal sales teams to support agency success
- Maintains regular communication with assigned agencies through phone calls
