Inside Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Engage in a high level of customer service through delivering quotation responses, handling customer discrepancies, receiving and maintaining customer orders while ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
• Develop and sustain effective supplier and customer relationships to assure a competitive position in the marketplace.
• Work closely with the Territory Manager to maintain lists of prospects and potentially new accounts to grow new business and achieve established budget targets.
• Maximize productivity by effectively planning, organizing, and managing workload.
• Review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates.
• Communicate with Territory Manager to assist in developing sales campaigns to accommodate goals of assigned customers.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in any specialty is preferred.
• No metal industry or sales experience necessary; we are happy to provide full training.
• Possess effective communication skills, including verbal and written.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Willingness to learn proprietary program known as Metalware.
• Displays effective use of time management skills.
• Knowledge of basic math skills is essential.
