Inpatient Therapist (PRN)
The Psychiatric Institute of Washington is seeking a talented and dynamic Inpatient Therapist (PRN) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals! PRN offers flexibility during the week! Weekend availability required. The Psychiatric Institute of Washington provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults suffering from mental health and addictive illnesses. The role: Responsible for facilitating individual and group therapy to individuals with trauma, affective mood disorders, co-occurring or substance use complications. Groups are held Monday through Friday. The group therapist will facilitate group therapy topics that are able to generalize to each member's needs. Responsible for providing direct patient care to adult's ages 18-+ that is congruent with the philosophy and standards of practice defined by the Department of Clinical Care Management. Responsible for conducting the intake and psychosocial assessments, case management activities, group and individual therapy, crisis intervention and participating as an active member of the interdisciplinary team.
