The Inpatient Surgical Unit RN is responsible for providing high-quality care to surgical patients. Thisrole involves critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. Salary Range :
$30.69 per hour (2 years of experience)
$33.71 per hour (5 years of experience)
Up to $43.20 per hour (17+ years of experience)
Shift Differentials :
$4.25 for nights
$3.00 for weekends
Sign-On Bonus : $20,000

Requirements :
- 1 year of acute care RN experience (open to LTAC RN experience)
- Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure (active FL RN license required within 90 daysof hire if holding a compact license)
- Current BLS certification
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing
- Nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
Shift : Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Unit Beds : 45-bed surgical unit within the med-surg unit
Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery
