The position involves integrating into the clinical, teaching, research, and distribution system for UC San Diego Health and the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Responsibilities include profile review, TPN order writing, pharmacokinetics, renal drug dosing, medication reconciliation, chemotherapy order review, precepting pharmacy students and residents, investigational drug support, and other activities to optimize drug therapy outcomes.

Under general supervision, responsible for medication provision and documentation, serving as preceptor, participating in committees, and promoting medication use policy. Depending on experience, the position is hired at Stf Pharm1 or Stf Pharm2, with <4 years or ≥4 years of experience respectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Doctorate of Pharmacy or equivalent clinical experience.
• Registered Pharmacist (RPH) issued by California.
• Pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical experience.

Special Conditions:

• Ability to work various hours, shifts, on-call, and locations.
• Subject to background check and physical.

Pay range: $179,631 - $202,244 annually; hourly: $86.03 - $96.86. Compensation factors include experience, skills, education, licensure, and organizational needs.
