Inpatient RN Surg/OR - Pre/Post & PACU

Work Schedule

100% FTE, Monday through Friday, 8‑hour shifts with variable start times. Department hours of 5:00 a.m.‑8:00 p.m. or until the last patient is discharged. You will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital, 1401 E State St. You may be eligible for up to a $15,000 sign‑on bonus.

Additional components of compensation may include

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. (Required)
• Must provide copy of high‑school diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. (Required)

Work Experience

• 2 years of 911 Call Center Triage experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting. (Required)
• Community nursing experience. (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

• Current RN licensure to practice in the state of Illinois. (Required)
• Basic Life Support / CPR certification. (Required)
• Specialty certification in area of concentration. (Preferred)
• For the 9th floor only: ACLS certification within two years of hire. (Preferred)
• Must possess a current, valid driver’s license issued by the individual’s state of residence. (Required)
