RequiredWork ExperienceExperience assisting in robotic-assisted cardiac and thoracic surgeries. RequiredA minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a cardiovascular operating room or as a RN. PreferredPrior completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program with related experience or successful completion of Scrub RN competency (Internal Northern Illinois Program). RequiredLicenses & CertificationsLicensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois.
RequiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification. RequiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Required. Prior to March 1, 2026 there was no ACLS requirement and after March 1, 2026 require the ACLS within one year of hirePediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
