Inpatient Psychiatrist

Mount Sinai South Nassau is seeking Inpatient Psychiatrists to join their facility in Oceanside, New York. This role involves providing psychiatric evaluations and treatment for adult patients in an inpatient unit, focusing on medication management and longitudinal care. • Inpatient unit for adult patients

Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychiatric evaluation, assessment and treatment
• Provide evidence-based care to adult patients in our inpatient unit
• Complete documentation and billing in a timely fashion as required by compliance
• Ensure compliance with standards of regulatory agencies
• Assist in providing adequate and appropriate service coverage which includes assisting the inpatient Director in the provision of continuous patient care and documentation
• Emergency room and hospital psychiatric consultations, treatment and disposition as required

Compensation

• Compensation ranges from $255,000 to $290,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
• The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits

Requirements

• MD or D.O. from an accredited School of Medicine
• License to practice medicine in the State of New York
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
