Job Summary

Inpatient Hematologist/Oncologist – 7d on / 7d off schedule. Provide continuity of highest-quality cancer care to hospitalized patients as part of the Onco-hospitalist Program at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, Jacksonville, FL.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care to cancer patients, including new diagnoses, hematology/oncology consultations, and therapy management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists and the palliative care team.
• Participate in programmatic development, research, and quality initiatives.
• Expand leadership opportunities within the Cancer Center.

Qualifications

• MD or DO.
• Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology.
• Active or unrestricted medical license in Florida.
• Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Hematology (and Oncology).
• DEA license.
• Eligibility for an adjunct academic appointment at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
