Working fully remotely, the full-time Inpatient Coding Specialist will analyze and audit documentation to ensure accurate coding, collaborate with clinical staff, and assist with quality audits and denial management. Key responsibilities Analyze and audit medical record documentation for accurate coding assignment Collaborate with providers and clinical documentation integrity staff to ensure compliance Assist with quality audits, denial management, and reporting documentation trends Required qualifications Associate's degree in Health Information, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field AHIMA or AAPC Certifications Minimum of 1 year of Inpatient Coding experience Experience with ICD CM/PCS and working in a medical office Familiarity with EPIC software
