Inpatient Cardiologist | Hartford, CT – 7-On/7-Off + Complex Cardiology

Position Highlights:

• Full-time inpatient cardiology with a 7-on/7-off schedule
• Consultative and follow-up care for patients with medium to high cardiac complexity
• Evaluate new cardiology consults and provide collaborative inpatient care and rounding
• Support transitional care for patients with cardiovascular conditions
• Work closely with clinical faculty and referring physicians
• Partner with Cardiology APPs and a comprehensive team of subspecialists
• Collaborate with Advanced Heart Failure, Structural Heart, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology and Cardiac Surgery teams
• Clinical, teaching and research opportunities with fellows and the clinical cardiology team
• Practice within a nationally recognized cardiovascular program with advanced cardiac capabilities

Qualifications:

• BC/BE in Cardiovascular Medicine
• CT medical license or eligibility
• Proficiency in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography
• Nuclear Cardiology certification preferred
