Hartford HealthCare’s Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a full-time inpatient noninvasive cardiologist to join Hartford Hospital, a major academic and surgical center in the Northeast. This role focuses on consultative and follow-up care for patients with medium to high cardiac complexity on a 7-on/7-off schedule. Clinicians will work alongside a collaborative team of advanced practice providers, sub-specialists, and clinical faculty in a premier cardiac program.
Practice Info
- Primarily based at Hartford Hospital, the quaternary hub of Hartford HealthCare’s Heart & Vascular Institute
- Consultative cardiology inpatient service working closely with clinical faculty and referring physicians
- Partner with a team of Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers and sub-specialists including Advanced Heart Failure, Structural Heart, Interventional, Electrophysiology and Cardiac Surgery
- Physician-led medical group with a dedicated focus on physician wellness
- Instant volume with a large internal referral network and mentoring colleagues
Responsibilities
- Evaluation of new consults
- Collaborative in-hospital care/rounding
- Transitional care for patients with heart-related conditions
- Participate in clinical, research and teaching opportunities with fellows and the clinical cardiology team

Requirements
- BC/BE in Cardiovascular Medicine and Echocardiography
- CT License or eligible
- Proficiency in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology certification is preferred
