Inpatient Auditing Consultant

Performing inpatient coding audits for facility reporting, the full-time Sr Auditing Consultant - Inpatient will analyze audit results, provide educational services to clients, and maintain knowledge of reimbursement systems while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Conduct inpatient coding audits and analyze results to identify patterns and improvement opportunities Provide educational services to clients, coders, and providers based on audit findings Maintain current knowledge of PCS and ICD-10 coding principles and relevant regulations Required qualifications: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS/P, or CPC certification 3+ years of experience in inpatient auditing Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and/or CPT-4 codes Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently Proficient in MS Office applications
