Ink Technician (3rd Shift)Souderton, PA Hourly Rate based on experience (plus $1 differential for 3rd Shift)Responsibilities:Ink Technicians play a critical role in press efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety.This position supports production by managing inks, adhesives, solvents, and hazardous materials while ensuring accurate color matching and timely delivery to the presses.Prepare color pulls and support press approvals to reduce waste and improve efficiencyStage, deliver, mix, and return inks and adhesives to support press operationsReceive, unload, store, and document ink, chemical, solvent, and adhesive deliveriesManage hazardous waste shipments and maintain satellite accumulation areas in compliance with regulations and Fres-co policiesMix inks and adhesives, open and close drums, weigh materials, and complete required documentationPerform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory recordsMaintain housekeeping standards in ink and solvent areas to prevent accidents and spillsOperate forklifts and hand trucks to safely move materialsCross train in other departments as needed to support productionTrain new hires and support ongoing training of team membersReport food safety, quality, and safety issues to appropriate personnelPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:Prior ink room, printing, or manufacturing experience preferredStrong work ethic with the ability to work independently and support production teamsGood attention to detail with required color discrimination and color matching skillsBasic computer skills for inventory and documentationAbility to follow standard work procedures and safety processesForklift certification or willingness to obtain certificationAbility to stand, sit, bend, and stoop throughout the shiftAbility to lift and pull at least 50 pounds and move heavier loads using hand trucks or material handling equipmentHigh school diploma or equivalent
