Injection Molding Operator IILocation: Arlington, TX Shift: B Shift | Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM Pay: $18.00/hour Shift Differential: Additional $0.75/hour upon conversion to FTE Overtime: Some weekend overtime may be requiredGeneral Summary The Injection Molding Operator II performs routine tasks relating to the manufacture, assembly, repair, or modification of products. Work is guided by detailed instructions, routines, and procedures. Tasks are routine, straightforward, and repetitive in nature.

The Operator II works under direct supervision, receives detailed instructions on work assignments, and refers questions or problems to higher levels. The position is responsible for maintaining production quality, following established procedures, and completing assigned production tasks efficiently and safely.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLearn and follow detailed assembly and production instructions.Set up, operate, and maintain assigned workstations, equipment, and tools.Recognize problems in the assembly or production process and report them to the Production Lead.Follow established quality and quantity requirements.Manually assemble components and produce high-quality products within defined time periods.Conduct First Part Approvals (FPA) and sign off to confirm the process is set up correctly.Perform color changes as required.Start up and shut down machines.Assist with operator training as needed.Review and sign off on pallet tags before parts are transferred to the warehouse.Use production software to create job packets and close jobs.Perform routine quality checks according to standard instructions.Complete required checklists and audit forms.Attend daily huddles, shift start-up, and changeover meetings as required.Perform routine housekeeping throughout the shift.Follow all safety and operational procedures.Perform other duties assigned by Management or Production Leadership.Qualifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred, particularly injection or blow molding.Knowledge of injection/blow molding production processes and equipment.Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic setup, startup, tuning, and minor repairs.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Basic computer skills.Ability to read and understand work instructions and maintenance manuals.Basic understanding of English to read work orders and write information.Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction.Ability to use logic to troubleshoot production equipment issues.Ability to visually inspect finished products and identify defects.Ability to learn and follow established operational and safety procedures.Ability to manage stress in a production environment.Ability to successfully complete required training.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsManufacturing environment with exposure to production equipment.Position requires approximately 95% standing or walking.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on a concrete floor.Frequent sitting, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling as required.Ability to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.Vision must be within or correctable to within normal range.Must maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.Must be available for evening and weekend work as needed.
