Injection Molding Operator I - Night ShiftInjection Molding Operator I - Night Shift (7:00PM - 7:00AM) $20.00/hr. + $1.00/hr. Shift DifferentialWe are currently searching for an Injection Molding Operator to be based out of Dallas, TX.

Reporting to the Molding Manager, this Molding Operator's primary focus will be tending the machines, packaging parts, basic material handling, and accomplishing daily production goals.What You'll Do:Run various machines and equipment within the molding departmentProcess and complete paperwork, and operate a forklift as requiredProgress towards a Molding Technician, where you'll oversee preventative maintenance on machines, manage changing out tools and molds, and train Injection Molding AssociatesFollow plant safety rules and wear proper PPE, which includes safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toe boots/shoes, and glovesPerform Other Duties as Assigned.What You'll Bring:Preferred is a high school diploma, or equivalentExperience reading and interpreting work ordersBasic math and counting skillsAbility to lift 35 pounds unassistedHave an attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organizationAll associates must embrace and foster an environment that supports our core values of Integrity, Respect, Excellence, Teamwork and AccountabilityPrevious machine operating and forklift experience is a plusWithin 3 months, you'll:Complete hourly immersion and any required training.Have a good understanding of our Safety Culture.Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.Join our team and align yourself with an industry leader!As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $20.00/hr. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time.
