This role is responsible for building, repairing, maintaining, and modifying injection molds used in the production of high-quality plastic parts. The ideal candidate has hands-on mold shop experience, strong polishing skills, and a solid understanding of mold components and machining processes.Key Responsibilities:Build, repair, modify, and maintain plastic injection molds and diesPerform die building, fitting, and assemblyRead and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specificationsMachine mold and die components using CNC mills, lathes, grinders, EDM, and hand toolsPerform precision fitting, polishing, spotting, and final assembly of mold and die componentsInspect tooling for wear, damage, and performance issuesTroubleshoot and resolve mold and die-related issues to support consistent, high-quality productionWork closely with engineering and production teams to implement tooling improvements and engineering changesRequirements:2-5+ years of experience in working in a mold shop2-5+ years of experience in mold polishingBackground in mold maintenance, repair, or building
