Infusion Nurse Practitioner OpportunityAOM Infusion is a national home infusion therapy pharmacy with licenses in all 50 states, expanding into ambulatory infusion centers (AICs) across a growing multi-state network. Our AICs are designed to deliver specialty infusion therapies in a patient-centered, clinically sophisticated outpatient environment focused on safety, access, and operational excellence.As we continue scaling our ambulatory infusion platform, AOM is seeking experienced and entrepreneurial Nurse Practitioners to serve as both clinical leaders and direct patient care providers within our infusion centers. This role is ideal for clinicians who thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment and are excited to help shape the future of ambulatory infusion care delivery.Position OverviewThe Infusion Nurse Practitioner serves as the clinical lead for one or more ambulatory infusion centers within a defined market.
This role combines direct patient care, infusion oversight, operational partnership, and clinical leadership responsibilities in support of AOM's expanding AIC network.The NP will perform patient assessments, oversee infusion therapies, administer infusions as appropriate, supervise infusion nursing staff, and support day-to-day clinical operations across assigned centers. As the market grows, the NP may also provide remote clinical supervision and support to satellite locations in accordance with state law, CMS and payer compliance, and organizational protocols.This is a highly collaborative role working closely with market operations leadership, local medical directors, infusion nurses, intake teams, pharmacy operations, and executive leadership to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient patient care delivery.Key Responsibilities:Clinical Care & Patient OversightPerform patient evaluations, assessments, and clinical clearances for infusion therapy servicesAdminister and oversee specialty infusion therapies in accordance with physician orders, payer requirements, and clinical protocolsOrder and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient diagnosis and therapy-specific needsMonitor patients during infusion treatment and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or emergent clinical situationsInitiate emergency procedures as necessary within scope of practice, alerting appropriate personnel or emergency responders when neededProvide ongoing clinical oversight of infusion nursing activities within assigned centersEnsure all clinical documentation is completed accurately and in real time, in compliance with organizational, state, and payer requirementsCollaborate with supervising/collaborating physicians (Local Medical Directors) as required by state lawSupport clinical escalation management and participate in quality reviews, root cause analyses, and patient safety initiativesMaintain compliance with all applicable infusion standards, emergency preparedness protocols, and infection prevention practicesObserve legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding the confidentiality of patient and proprietary information, including strict adherence to HIPAA regulationsMarket & Operational LeadershipServe as a clinical leader and culture carrier within the marketPartner closely with operational leadership to support center growth, staffing alignment, and clinical workflow optimizationAssist with onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing development of infusion RNs and other clinical staffSupport implementation of standardized workflows, protocols, and best practices across multiple locationsParticipate in market growth activities including new center launches, workflow design, and operational readiness planningProvide flexible coverage across multiple infusion centers within the assigned marketSupport remote supervision models where appropriate and permissible as the AIC network scalesCompliance & Clinical GovernanceMaintain compliance with all state collaborative practice, licensure, and supervision requirementsSupport chart review, audit preparation, accreditation readiness, and quality assurance initiativesParticipate in the review and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and infusion protocolsEscalate clinical concerns, safety events, or operational risks through appropriate organizational channelsDocument all required supervisory, clinical, and compliance activities accurately and consistentlyLicensure RequirementsActive, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in applicable state(s)BLS certification required; ACLS certification strongly preferredEligible to practice independently or under collaborative/supervisory agreement consistent with state lawRequirements:Minimum 3 years of clinical NP experience preferredPrior ambulatory infusion, outpatient infusion center, specialty infusion, or home infusion experience requiredExperience supervising or mentoring RNs or clinical teams strongly preferredComfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving, multi-site healthcare environmentStrong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and patient communication abilitiesAbility to travel locally within assigned market and provide coverage across multiple sites as neededComfortable utilizing EMR systems, remote communication platforms, and distributed clinical workflowsBenefits:AOM Infusion recognizes the value of benefits for you and your family, so we offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program:Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with Employer Match, Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays, FSA, Life & AD&D Insurance, Disability Coverage, and Employee Referral Program
