What You Will Do
* Validate next generation compute platforms from initial hardware installation through operational readiness.
* Perform system integration activities including rack installation, firmware configuration, operating system deployment, and infrastructure verification.
* Develop repeatable validation procedures that improve hardware qualification efficiency and deployment consistency.
* Execute functional, reliability, performance, and stress testing across servers, networking equipment, storage systems, and supporting infrastructure.
* Investigate hardware, firmware, operating system, and platform level issues while partnering with internal engineering teams and external technology vendors.
* Support qualification of advanced networking environments, including high bandwidth switching, optical connectivity, and infrastructure performance testing.
* Participate in validation efforts for high density cooling solutions, facility infrastructure, and supporting mechanical systems.
* Verify platform health using management interfaces, telemetry, diagnostics, and monitoring tools.
* Create comprehensive technical documentation including validation reports, operating procedures, and deployment guides.
* Contribute recommendations that improve product reliability, deployment readiness, and operational scalability.
What You Bring
* Background deploying and evaluating large-scale computing infrastructure, including data processing, connectivity, and performance-focused systems.
* Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
* Hands on experience working with platform management technologies such as IPMI, Redfish, or similar hardware management interfaces.
* Ability to automate testing using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or comparable tools.
* Experience diagnosing issues across hardware, firmware, operating systems, and software components.
* Familiarity with structured validation methodologies, root cause analysis, and engineering documentation.
* Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment with multiple concurrent projects.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience supporting high density compute infrastructure.
* Knowledge of liquid cooling technologies or advanced thermal management systems.
* Familiarity with high-performance networking technologies and optical connectivity.
* Exposure to Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, or large-scale provisioning environments.
* Experience with electrical, power distribution, or infrastructure monitoring systems.
* Understanding of storage validation, benchmarking, or performance analysis.
