Works as part of a small, highly technical team supporting both the underlying infrastructure and advanced AI capabilities built on top of it.Responsibilities:Administers RHEL 9 servers and Windows servers supporting a self-hosted ServiceNow environment running on AWSManages and maintains core AWS infrastructure including EC2 instances, RDS databases, Application Load Balancers (ALBs), security groups, and related servicesWorks incidents and service requests related to platform health, stability, and performancePerforms minor and major upgrades to the ServiceNow platform and underlying infrastructure with minimal service disruptionAI & Advanced Capabilities Engineering:Deploys, configures, and maintains ServiceNow AI capabilities including Now Assist, AI Search (AIS), Predictive Intelligence, and AI Control TowerIntegrates ServiceNow with AWS Bedrock and large language model (LLM) backends to enable generative AI features in a self-hosted, classified environmentSupports MCP (Model Context Protocol) server configuration and integration with AI toolingMaintains platform-level configuration and integration across AI capability modules Engineering & ModernizationDevelops proof-of-concept (POC) solutions and investigates emerging technologies relevant to the platform and missionProduces engineering recommendations in response to evolving technical requirements, new customer needs, and technology advancementsMaintains and modernizes infrastructure as platform capabilities and government requirements evolveIntegration & Collaboration:Works directly with integration partners to troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from third-party integrationsSupports other teams across the organization with platform-related needs including CMDB administration, discovery configuration, and ad hoc technical assistanceCollaborates with stakeholders to translate operational and customer requirements into technical solutionsTechnical Environment:Operating Systems: RHEL 9, Windows ServerCloud Platform: AWS (EC2, RDS, ALB, Security Groups, Bedrock)ITSM Platform: ServiceNow (self-hosted, Zurich)Qualifications:Experience with Linux server administrationExperience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)Experience with ServiceNowNice to have:Experience with AWS AI ServicesServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)Clearance:An active TS/SCI is required
