Top skills and years of experience include:3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.3-5 years IBM WebSphereSome experience Microsoft IIS1-2 years of experience AzureWe are seeking an Infrastructure Solutions Architect (ISA) to design, manage, and administer computer infrastructure and software. The ideal candidate will ensure application uptime and high performance for multiple ORS applications, including but not limited to: WebSphere administration, Clarety Customer Support Application, Employer Reporting, and miAccount.
Also, the ISA is responsible to ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to State policies, standards, and guidelines. The ISA will help design, implement, and maintain Azure-based systems, work with development teams to optimize Azure infrastructure for application performance, develop and maintain Azure infrastructure automation scripts, monitor, and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure issues, ensure that Azure infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards following State of Michigan policies and procedures. The ISA will participate in on-call rotation for production support and will be the backup to the lead architect for ORS.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based systems.Work with development teams to optimize Azure infrastructure for application performance.Develop and maintain Azure infrastructure automation scripts.Monitor and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure issues.Ensure that Azure infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards following State of Michigan policies.Manage and administer IBM WebSphere.Manage and administer computer hardware and software.Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to State policies, standards, and guidelines.Participate in on-call rotation for production support.Other duties as assigned.
