Infrastructure Security ConsultantThe Infrastructure Security Consultant will be responsible for analysis of current and future private and public cloud infrastructure and mitigation tracking of Infrastructure security. Design, standards risks, and monitoring compliance with security policies, as well as remediation management of network, compute and storage security infrastructure. The expectation is this person will work directly with infrastructure and cloud team to implement the current security standards across the company.Primary Responsibilities:Define and implement security requirements, policies and controlsOversight of security exceptionsCloud network, compute and storage securityTrust office liaison to corporate security, information risk managementDevelops pioneering approaches to emerging industry trends in network security, firewalls, OS, web application securityHelp ensure infrastructure security solutions meet best practice security policies and controlsStorage encryption key systems managementRisk analysis and mitigation tracking across different storage and SAN devicesPrivileged password management across all storage devices and develop exceptions when neededAuditing of administrative actions (storage administration related)Development security standards, policies and proceduresAuditing of SAN/NAS infrastructuresRequired Qualifications:5 years of information technology experience in information security- defining, creating, or implementing security requirements3 years engineering, administering, securing cloud SAAS infrastructureAuthentication, authorization, user security (Active Directory, LDAP)Encryption key systems management experience a plusDetailed documentation and diagraming skillsPlatform administration experience (Windows and/or Unix/Linux)Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including an ability to communicate at appropriate levels with both technical and non-technical contributors, including project managers, systems engineers, developers, and enterprise architectsPreferred Qualifications:DevSecOPs experience a plusAutomation, scripting, monitoring and alertingInternal processes/procedures and supporting systemsUndergraduate degree or higher education
