Infrastructure Manager

Hybrid (3x/week) - Naperville, IL

12 months, Contract to hire

Required Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated people-management experience leading technical teams, including performance management, coaching, workload planning, and delivery accountability.
• Strong technical background in vulnerability remediation, infrastructure operations, and enterprise patch management.
• Working knowledge of network-device updates, cloud and server environments, and Windows and macOS endpoint patching
• Ability to interpret vulnerability assessments and vendor advisories, evaluate dependencies, and challenge remediation plans constructively.
• Experience coordinating change management, patch testing, phased deployment, rollback planning, and post-deployment validation.

Preferred:

• Experience leading a global remediation or infrastructure operations function of comparable scale.
• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment, endpoint management, patch orchestration, asset inventory, and service-management platforms

Overview:

Lead a global team of approximately 15 professionals, with about half of the team located outside the United States, to coordinate risk-based vulnerability remediation and patch delivery. Partner closely with the security team to prioritize vulnerabilities and schedule patching across network infrastructure, cloud platforms, servers, and end-user computing, including Dell and HP computers and Mac devices. Combine technical judgment with strong people management to reduce exposure while protecting service availability and business continuity.
