Infrastructure EngineerLocation: Onsite in Austin, TX, 5 days a week, relos are welcome but first day is onsite, and onboarding clears within two weeksNeeds:Heavy scripting automation with Python and PowerShellWindows environmentWindows adminExpectations:• Participate in the software development lifecycle, which includes research, new development, modification, security, correction of errors, reuse, test development, re-engineering and maintenance of scripts or software• Troubleshoot issues in a complex environment to develop sustaining fixes• Work in a global cross-functional team environment and communicate well• Take ownership of assigned tasks• Document processes and procedures• Show attention to detailTechnical skills:Strong experience with client operating systems (OS), OS imaging, OS deployment, and OS customization (Win10, Win 11, WinPE and Linux)Experience with imaging and deployment tools including SCCM, MDT and the Microsoft ADK tools a plus.Strong experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, JSON, Perl, Shell, & YAML)Strong familiarity scripting in Python preferred and some experience in python is requiredSolid working knowledge of computer hardware, BIOS and driver layersClient and enterprise-level, cross-functional troubleshootingExperience in a technology manufacturing environmentPrevious Dell manufacturing environment experience a plusEducation:Undergraduate degree and/or 8-10 years equivalent experienceTechnical certifications a plus (A+, Security+, OS Certifications, PCAP, Cloud, etc.)
