Infrastructure EngineerLocation: Wilmington, NCDuration: 12 Months+ONLY USC and GC HoldersRole Summary / PurposeJob Summary:Implement and support lab environment infrastructure to include Firewalls, Switches, Hosting Servers, Windows and Linux Virtual Machines, Windows Domain.Document processes and details of implementation.Essential ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Maintain documentation of processes and configuration of lab infrastructure. Including: Firewalls, Switches, Hosting Servers, Windows and Linux Virtual Machines, Windows Domain.Routine maintenance of lab infrastructure.Identify performance bottlenecks and stability issues.Recommend and implement process and system improvements.Testing and monitoring of lab infrastructure.Work with small teams as part of a large team to deliver quality applications.Qualifications / RequirementsSkills:US Citizen or valid green card holderFamiliarity with: Windows Server, Linux, Cisco and Juniper network equipmentDetail orientedGood communication and documentation skillsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Library Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent with minimum 2 years of experienceAdditional Desired Characteristics:Familiarity with: CI/CD, MarkDown, Git, Mermaid, vSphere, Hyper-V, Windows Clustering, SSH serversExperience with Windows domain administration, group policies, account administration, patching (WSUS)
