We are looking for a Technical Disaster Recovery Lead to provide hands-on leadership and coordination for enterprise-wide Disaster Recovery initiatives. This is not a pure Project Manager role — the ideal candidate will have a strong infrastructure background and direct experience planning, testing, executing, and improving DR capabilities.
What You'll Do
* Lead and coordinate enterprise DR planning, testing, failover, and recovery activities
* Coordinate across infrastructure teams, application teams, and global DR stakeholders
* Support DR testing, PiTR exercises, BCP/compliance activities, remediation, and automation
* Coordinate resources across the US, APAC, and EMEA using a follow-the-sun support model
* Work across servers, databases, middleware, networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments
* Assess application and infrastructure dependencies and recovery sequencing
* Develop and maintain DR plans, runbooks, testing procedures, and remediation plans
* Provide technical leadership during global DR events, including occasional weekend/after-hours testing
* Clearly communicate technical risks, recovery strategies, dependencies, and status to both technical and management teams
What We're Looking For
* Strong infrastructure engineering or operations background
* Hands-on, enterprise-scale Disaster Recovery experience
* Experience with DR planning, testing, failover, recovery, and remediation
* Broad knowledge across multiple infrastructure technology towers
* Strong understanding of application/infrastructure dependencies and recovery sequencing
* Experience with DR plans, runbooks, PiTR/BCP exercises, and compliance
* Ability to explain your personal technical contributions to DR initiatives
* Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills
* Ability to combine technical expertise with management and leadership
Nice to Have
* Financial services or other regulated industry experience
