Infotainment Test EngineerLocation: California Type: ContractDuration: Long termWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Infotainment Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive infotainment systems testing, including validation of features such as audio, Bluetooth, navigation, connectivity, and HMI.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for infotainment systemsValidate system functionality including Bluetooth, audio, navigation, voice recognition, and smartphone connectivity (Apple CarPlay, Android Auto)Perform manual and automated testing in lab and in-vehicle environmentsLog and track defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to drive resolutionUse diagnostic tools, CAN tools (e.g., CANalyzer, CANoe), and scripting for testing and validationEnsure compliance with performance, usability, and reliability standardsSupport integration and regression testing efforts across software releasesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field3+ years of experience in infotainment or automotive systems testingHands-on experience with infotainment components and technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, Media, etc.)Familiarity with tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, Jira, and test case management platformsStrong debugging and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and documentation skillsExperience with automation tools or scripting (Python, CAPL, etc.) is a plusPreferred Skills:Experience with vehicle-level testingExposure to Agile or other software development life cycle methodologiesISTQB certification or similar is a plus
