Robotic Automation Developer (Simulation & Robotics Engineering)Location: Austin, TX 78753 (100% Onsite)Duration: 6 months to 12 monthsResponsibilities:Develop physics-based simulations for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and cobotsBuild simulation-in-the-loop systems for testing perception, control, and autonomyDesign simulation scenario frameworks for realistic factory conditionsIntegrate robots using ROS 2, Fanuc/Roboguide, or similar platformsSimulate large-scale environments with multiple robots and sensorsDevelop discrete-event and continuous simulation modelsCreate high-fidelity 3D environments and mapsBuild dashboards and metrics for simulation analysisIntegrate simulation outputs into ML training and evaluation pipelinesDeploy simulations on multi-GPU environments (cloud/on-prem)Design and manage simulation data models and databasesDevelop APIs and interfaces for simulation systemsEssential Skills:Strong experience in robotics simulation and synthetic data generationHands-on experience with simulation tools (Isaac Sim, Omniverse, Gazebo, Mujoco, Open3DE)Proficiency in Python and C++Experience with ROS 2 and robotics integrationKnowledge of physics engines and real-time simulation systemsExperience with multi-robot simulation environmentsExperience with GPU-based simulation infrastructureKnowledge of PLC programming (GE-Fanuc or similar)Experience with AI/ML integration using simulation dataStrong problem-solving and system design skillsCore Skills:Robotics simulation and modelingAutonomous systems and AMR developmentPython and C++ programmingROS 2 and robotics middlewarePhysics-based simulation enginesSynthetic data generationMulti-GPU and high-performance computing3D modeling and environment simulationData pipelines and ML integrationAPI and system integrationExperience Required: 4-6 years or above
