Your future awaits with us!Our team is looking for an IT Specialist!Position Overview:The IT Specialist's primary role is to provide support to our staff in our many veterinary hospital locations.
They will work directly with the Director of Technology to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technological issues.Our IT Specialist Team Member will:Install PC's and computer related equipment (Monitors, Network Switches, etc.)Record logs of work done and the resolution into specified support queueing systemPerform remote and in-person diagnostics and repair software and hardware related computer issuesTroubleshoot network related issues for wireless and wired networksAssist with updating and preparation of PC's for installationRepair and replacement of computer and server hardwareAssist with IT inventory tracking through auditing and data entryTrain end users on proper use of technologies such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Basecamp, and other related technologies to their individual clinicsPerform other job-related duties as assignedQualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related fieldAt least 1-2 years of IT experience with the ability to work independentlyFamiliarity with common computer systems and software's i.e., Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, iOS, AndroidAbility to provide instructions to end users on how to resolve technological issuesStrong problem-solving skills related to technology and common computer issuesUnderstanding of Basic Computer Networking PrinciplesBasic Knowledge of Windows Domains, Active Directory, and FirewallsAbility to adapt and learn new software systems quickly on the jobStrong communication skillsSome weekends required
