Manager Note:

Experience: 3 to 5 years (10+ considered overqualified; 6-7 years may be considered case-by-case)

Contract-only, approved through end of year with likely 6-month extensions prioritize candidates with strong communication, SDLC/deploy experience, and agentic AI exposure

Scrum Master background: not relevant to this role

Traditional “seasoned PM” profile: not a fit; role skews technical and AI-forward

Nights/weekends required occasionally; alternate time off given for those periods

- Results-oriented: SDLC experience, deploy and release ownership, self-sufficient after hours, knows when to escalate

- Technical: Unix/Linux, Jira (JQL), ServiceNow, Python (nice to have), agentic AI exposure (5-6 months minimum)

Must Have Qualifications:3-5 years of experience. Excellent communication written and verbal, Jira - Reporting and strong JQL, Unix/Linux, business and technical Savvy, knows when to escalate, creating and initiating projects. And ServiceNow. BA in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Information Systems – non-negotiable at this time. Nice to have: Knowledge of Agentic AI, programming in python.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Project Manager responsible for monthly software release management processes

• Focus on code quality, execution of manual regression testing and support automated Junit(s)

• Collaborate with infrastructure teams and impacted users to coordinate environment change

• Point person for Incident Management including communications, resolution and root cause analysis • Create technical and knowledge documentation, define and drive new procedures

• Participate in on-call schedule (supporting Northern Virginia time zone), and other related management and technical duties Technical Skills:

• 3+ years of Technical Project Manager or Product Owner experience

• Technical background with 5+ years of experience developing & maintaining Java/Python software apps • Unix troubleshooting and Shell scripting proficiency

• Experience with Jenkins end to end build, test, deploy and integration with GIT/Artifactory

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Master Degree in information systems (MIS), computer science, or a related engineering field

• Experience with ServiceNow and Release Management practices · Experience with Jira is a MUST

• Experience with Confluence Wiki

• Able to research and learn new methodologies and technologies and bring knowledge to the team
