Remote Contract General

Senior Network AdministratorWe are looking for a senior Network Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation. The candidate would have 7+ years of infrastructure administration and 5+ years of experience in network administration preferably using Cisco products. This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.What you will be responsible for as Network Engineer, Architect you will:Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate routers, switches, load balancers and firewallsInstall and integrate new network hardware and appliancesSupport and administer third-party data feedsEnsure network security and connectivityMonitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for weaknessesResearch and make recommendations on network system administrationSpecify system requirements and design solutionsWhat we value: These skills will help you succeed in this role:Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skillsExperience in managing large scale, multi-location projectsStrong written and verbal communicationEducation & Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree required7+ years of infrastructure technology administration5+ years of network administrationKnowledge of Cisco route/switch and Palo Alto firewalls preferredCCNA required, CCNP or CCIE preferred, PCNSA or PCNSE preferredExperience with Cisco DNA Center and NDFC is a plusMainly what the suppliers like to see is:What are the 3-5 “nice to have” attributes that would separate a successful candidate from their competition when interviewing? There will be no test.Will this position be remote, hybrid, or 5 days onsite?

Hybrid. At least 2 days in the office each week. Preferably Wednesday and Thursday but those days are flexible.What are the working hours?
