Information Technology Architect 1 (Unified Communications Lead)

The Information Technology Architect 1 serves as the Unified Communications Lead for the New York Attorney General's Office, overseeing the Unified Collaboration as a Service (UCaaS) and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) team. The role involves developing, deploying, and maintaining modern communication platforms integrated with Microsoft 365, managing a team of UCaaS professionals, standardizing communication systems across the agency, and ensuring security and reliability of all communications infrastructure.

Key qualifications:

• Six years of information technology experience, four of which must be in UCaaS platforms
• 3+ years' experience supporting UCaaS platforms (Zoom, RingCentral, 8x8, etc.)
• 2+ years' experience supporting CCaaS platforms (NICE, Genesys, RingCentral, etc.)
• 1+ years' experience with Office 365 tenant architecture, administration and support
• Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, QoS, SIP, etc.)
• Knowledge of cloud networking and security principles
