Information Technology Analyst (Principal) (EAM)Solano County is the ideal place to live, learn, work and play.The IT Analyst Principal – Enterprise Analytics Manager will manage the Data Visualization program in the design, development, and support of integrated data from several application sources to create actionable intelligence. The Enterprise Data Analytics program will include reporting tools based on the Azure Data Management platform. As an experienced IT lead, the IT Analyst Principal will participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities related to information technology, and make recommendations that will result in implementation of policies and procedures. The IT Analyst Principal will oversee, coordinate, and participate in organizational, operational, and procedural analyses to determine information input, work processes, and desired output for potential and/or up-dated computerization for a large number of users in support of multi-departmental or county-wide applications. The IT Analyst Principal will recommend County-wide information technology standards, and evaluate and develop proposed standards for hardware, software and networks. As the lead, the IT Analyst Principal will be responsible for selecting, training, motivating and evaluating IT personnel as well as monitoring the program budget.The Enterprise Analytics Manager should be an individual energized by the potential to serve the Reporting, Analytics and Business Intelligence needs of Solano County with extensive experience in business systems spanning Healthcare, Law and Justice, Tax Collections, Assessor Records, etc. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills and will be motivating, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working autonomously. Experience: Six (6) years of information technology systems and/or application development and support experience including two (2) years of project lead or supervisory responsibility. Note: Additional experience may substitute on a year for year basis for the educational requirement.Licensing, Certification and Registration Requirements:Applicants may be required to possess a valid California Driver's License, Class C.Some positions in this class will require technical certifications demonstrating expertise in specific bodies of knowledge.Note: All licenses, certificates and registrations requisite to the position must be kept current while employed in this class. This may include the completion of continuing education units to maintain the required registration in good standing.
