We specialize in providing high-volume contingent staffing, direct hire staffing and project-based solutions to companies worldwide ranging from startups to Fortune 500 and Managed Service Providers (MSP) across a wide variety of industries.Job Title: Information System Security OfficeLocation: Los Angeles, CA 90045Duration: 12 MonthsJob Description:Key Responsibilities:Support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and system authorization lifecycleExperience with GRC platforms (ServiceNow GRC)Create systems baseline using NIST 800-53 security controls.Develop, review, and maintain security documentation (SSPs, POA&Ms, Policies and procedures, etc.)Perform security control assessments and validation activitiesEnsure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, PCI, TSA and applicable regulatory frameworksConduct vulnerability assessments and track remediation efforts through risk registry.Work with system owners to identify, document, and mitigate risksMonitor systems for compliance with security baselines and policiesSupport audit readiness and respond to audit findingsCoordinate incident response activities and ensure proper reportingProvide security guidance and awareness to stakeholdersPrepare and deliver regular status and risk reportsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen security postureQualifications:Proven experience as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) or similar cybersecurity roleStrong knowledge of NIST RMF (CSF, 800-53) and related standardsExperience with security compliance frameworks NIST CSF 2.0, NIST 800-53 and NIST SP 800-161Familiarity with vulnerability management tools and security assessment methodologiesKnowledge of cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plusStrong understanding of network, application, and data security principlesRelevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, Security+)Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAt KAYGEN, people are at the heart of everything we do.
