Providing security engineering and compliance support for FAA systems, the full-time Information Systems Security Engineer will focus on security planning, risk management, and the implementation of security controls while working remotely. Key Responsibilities Conduct security analysis, design support, and implementation assistance for information systems Support Certification and Authorization (C&A) activities and ensure compliance with FAA and NIST standards Provide expertise across security domains, including access control, network security, and risk management Required Qualifications Experience in information systems security, cybersecurity, or security engineering Knowledge of federal and FAA security requirements and NIST security frameworks Experience developing and maintaining security documentation such as SSP and risk assessments Minimum of 2 years' experience with a Bachelor's degree in any engineering field for junior-level candidates Minimum of 10 years' experience with a Bachelor's degree for mid-level candidates; 15 years for senior-level candidates
