Information Systems Security Engineer

Providing Cyber Security support, the full-time Information Systems Security Engineer will oversee the development and maintenance of security solutions, perform vulnerability assessments, and assist with security testing while working remotely with occasional travel to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Key responsibilities Oversee the development and maintenance of system Cyber Security solutions Lead security control implementation and testing efforts, including vulnerability assessments Manage and document security compliance status during the continuous monitoring phase Required qualifications Active DOD Secret Clearance CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent Experience as an Information Systems Security Engineer on Navy eMASS projects is a plus Willingness to travel during the second week of onboarding Strong understanding of security control baselines and risk assessment processes
