In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country's most critical role – protecting our national security.Why Join Us?Innovative Projects: KBR's work is at the forefront of engineering, logistics, operations, science, program management, mission IT and cybersecurity solutions.Collaborative Environment: Be part of a dynamic team that thrives on collaboration and innovation, fostering a supportive and intellectually stimulating workplace.Impactful Work: Your contributions will be pivotal in designing, deploying, and securing mission-critical network infrastructure supporting national security operations.Key Responsibilities:Support system owners and project managers through cybersecurity approval and compliance processesReview technical architectures, deployment methodologies, and network designsInterpret cybersecurity and data protection requirements for stakeholdersEnsure cybersecurity requirements are integrated throughout the system lifecycleDevelop and maintain security documentation and compliance artifactsAssess system risks and recommend mitigation strategiesProvide cybersecurity guidance to engineers and non-technical partnersSupport security reviews, audits, and accreditation activitiesWork Environment:Location: On-siteTravel Requirements: MinimalWorking Hours: StandardQualifications:Required:Active TS/SCI with PolygraphBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 7 years of experience; additional experience may be substituted for a degreeExperience reviewing, approving, and developing security plans for IT systemsExperience implementing measures to protect systems against unauthorized access, modification, destruction, or disclosureDemonstrated understanding of information systems, system development, network architecture, and cybersecurity principlesAbility to manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environmentExperience briefing technical and non-technical audiencesDesired:Experience supporting system accreditation or authorization processesKnowledge of RMF, NIST, and cybersecurity compliance frameworksExperience supporting intelligence community customersSecurity certification such as CISSP, GSLC, or equivalentExperience working within multidisciplinary engineering teamsBasic Compensation:$142,000 to $173,500This range is for the Virginia area onlyThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.Additional Compensation:KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
